090920 Parametric Facade

Yuan's post on Parametric Facade interests me a lot. It is because it deals with two towers with a flat platform in the middle. My proposition is somewhat similar to this.

Mod02

Project by Christian Höher, David Mathyl
Introduction
This module is an experimental setup in which the students will design parametric driven facades. These are facades that adapt to local conditions such as sun-angles, inner uses, noise levels and more. Each element is drafted in the parametric modeler Digital Project/Catia by Gehry Technologies. In these models, the final form of the elemets is controlled by several parameters which are derived from bitmaps and transfered to catia by a PERL script.
